Micah's mini ramps,
By mmtutor
building of the sides
this is the base for the unlevel ground via rickh's plans. we did this cause we wanted strenght rather than poorly made. plus the ramp is going to be elevated
none
my brother getting excited that we are building a ramp
none
none
me debating on why 8x8 seems to small for the base of the flat, but decided to add more sides to the ramp to make it 3'3 by 16 feet, so we are going to make it wider

the baby ramp, this was all cull lumber from Home Depot. (just dont let friends loose with spray paint on it)
my way of drawing a trans,
none
a nice clean line to cut
we drew a few different ones to get a good tran, and ended up with a 59 inch rad for the ramp
looking at the trans lines from a side view, which on to take, 59, 67, and 72 rad...
cutting down cull lumber 2x4s from Home Depot
a total of 20 2x4s were cut at 47 1/8 since the plywood panels are 1/2 inch thick
Jorin marking the lines (all 4 trans) for 8 inch spacing for the joists

the coping seats, were cut at a 42 bevel to go with th tran flow

1st layer of sheeting 3/8 rtd (cd plywood)
Jorin using a collated screw gun with acx deck screws, speeds up putting one screw at a time
looking at the masonite layout
the install of the masonite
and done, 4 hours and $65 dollars later
jorin excited that we have a qtr to play on, (actually he is tired after a hour of runs on it).
Notes
Here are a few pics of our mini half pipe, that my brother and I built, it was all built indoors (our shop at the house). Granted there are a few pics missing of the build. We used all new lumber from my work (Home Depot) alot of the 2x4s were discounted because of damaged ends, so there was alot of misc waste (which was used to make our baby fun box). but whole project was under $600 including paint, anyways we plan on moving the ramp and by spring have more sides built on it, and a cedar deck that goes around it with stairs. Anyways thanks for looking and anycomment let me know. total build time 3 days.
Picture 15 is our mini fun ramp, it was about $20 from Home Depot,
Here are some pics of the build of the mini qtr ramp, there are pics of the drawing for the tran, and what the coping looks like when the bolts are installed from the under side. total cost and time was around $60 dollars (cull lumber from Home Depot) and around 4 hours to build. Hope you like, and let me know what ya think, Micah
